No Right Reason to Dissolve KPK - External member of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) ethics committee, Syafii Maarif stated the commision must not be dissolved. He admitted that the committee must be clean from its corrupt officials but it does not mean that it must be dissolved.
"KPK must not be dissolved. If "rats" (corrupt officials) are found at "rice reserves" (KPK), the reserves must not be burned down," said Syafii at KPK building, here, Thursday.

The ethics committee was set to have investigations on KPK officials allegedly involved in corruption as revealed by Muhammad Nazaruddin, a suspect in a corruption case tied to the construction of a SEA Games athletes guesthouse in Palembang.
Those officials mentioned by Muhammad Nazaruddin are KPK deputy chairmen Chandra M Hamzah and M Jasin, KPK deputy for enforcement Ade Rahardja, and KPK spokesman Johan Budi. ( kompas.com )
