Is Clint Eastwood the Mystery RNC Speaker? - There's a big mystery in Tampa. Who is the "TBA" who will address the convention Thursday night just before Marco Rubio and Mitt Romney?

It's a prime slot on the final night of the convention. The convention hall has been buzzing with the possibility - almost the expectation at this point - that it will be Clint Eastwood, who endorsed Romney earlier this year.

You'll recall that some Republicans were frustrated by Eastwood's appearance in that Chrysler Super Bowl ad about "halftime" in America. Romney, of course, opposed the auto bailout that saved Chrysler.

Big error in Olympic tattoo

Big error in Olympic tattoo - It's not every day that you get to run around carrying the Olympic torch in a foreign country. That's why when Atlanta resident Jerri Peterson, 54, was selected to participate in the 2012 Olympic Torch Relay for her years of charity fundraising, she decided to commemorate the event with some permanent ink.

Unfortunately for Peterson, the tattoo artist she went to didn't run his artwork through spell-check before busting out the ink gun.

Jerri Peterson, from Atlanta in the U.S., carried the torch through Derby on 30 June after being nominated by the hotel chain she worked for. Before coming to England, she decided to spend money on a tattoo to mark the occasion. Only later did the 54-year-old realize it featured the misspelling "Oylmpic".

Peterson didn't even notice the spelling error until she sent a photo of her new tattoo to a friend who pointed out the blunder. "I looked at it, and I was so disappointed. I called my husband, and he giggled a little bit. Then I started laughing about it, and I've laughed ever since," she told the BBC. ( yahoo )

Sylvester Stallone tells TMZ he is devastated by the death of his son Sage Stallone and wants "the speculation and questionable reporting" to stop.

Stallone -- who gave us this picture of him with Sage taken in 1991 by famed photog Bruce Weber -- says, "When a parent loses a child there is no greater pain. Therefore I am imploring people to respect my talented son's memory and feel compassion for his loving mother Sasha."

Sly goes on to say, "This agonizing loss will be felt for the rest of our lives," adding, "Sage was our first child and the center of our universe and I am humbly begging for all to have my son's memory and soul left in peace." ( TMZ )

The traditional presentation of shamrocks to the soldiers dates back to the early 1900s and used to be performed by the Queen Mother (Prince William's great-grandmother) prior to her death in 2002.
